Cheryl Henry, Administrator of the Laurels Assisted Living, was first hired as Directer of Nursing in October 2008 and was promoted to her current position in December 2008. Graduating from Penn State with a degree in nursing, she began her career working in cardiac care for 14 years, then called to missions at Camp Bethel, in Wise, Virgina. She was also involved in an after school program for at-risk children and later established 'Wise Choices Abortion Alternatives' and 'Wise Country Crisis Pregnancy Center Ministry'. Cheryl's education and experience is not only a perfect fit for The Laurels, but parallels the mission of Family Ministries, which offers a full circle of services from the protection of unborn babies to providing a safe and secure home for our saintly seniors.
